I joined Teach for Australia as an Associate in 2012. I was placed in Tennant Creek, a remote community in the Northern Territory of Australia, where I taught English, Social Studies, Wellbeing and Literacy. During this time I also undertook a collaborative research fellowship with Teach for All which investigated methods of improving students resilience and independence. Since the beginning of 2014 I have taught at Parkville College which is a school within the juvenile justice centre in Victoria. I teach literacy to boys aged 15-18 and coordinate the schools Data and Assessment practices.
